A dental bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth by connecting the gap to adjacent natural teeth. Bridges consist of artificial teeth (pontics) that are anchored to the surrounding teeth using crowns. The surrounding teeth, also known as abutment teeth, support the bridge and help restore the function and appearance of the missing teeth.
